BEIJING, Oct. 30 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice Premier Hui Liangyu said on Tuesday that the Chinese government will continue to encourage the investment cooperation between enterprises of China and Arab countries.
Hui made the remark in a meeting with Adenan Kassa, president of the Arab Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, who is heading a delegation of the China-Arab Joint Chamber of Commerce on a China visit.
Hui hailed the contribution the Chamber has made to promoting China-Arab friendship and developing China-Arab economic and trade relations, adding that it is his hope that the Chamber would play a more active role in serving the business communities.
Kassa said he has personally witnessed the great achievements China has made since its reform and opening up more than 20 years ago, and he will continue to work with the Arab business community for the healthy development of Arab-China economic and trade ties.
The delegation is invited by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
