Comments on the Seminar On Chinese Culture and Economy:
After one month long trip to China, nov. 2008, the first thought that comes to mind is the strong feeling to salute the chinese people friendliness, their sense of humor, their hospitality. and I found myself impressed by:
- their vivacity and joyfulness at work: they do their work as if in “celebration”.
Our host ,the NCU staff, have deployed an intensive effort to provide the seminar of the representatives of 22 developping countries, in just one month, with the opportunity to witness the development of the various aspects of Chinese life, and the pride expressed by people of China achieving the intensive building construction, the rapidly established infrastructure, Enormous Roads net, Beijing modern subway, the chef d'oeuvre Olympic construction. the integration of Chinese ancient culture into the modern culture, which shows a path of a great nation flourishing harmoniously throughout a long history, traditional arts, historical cultural sites, acupuncture, and enlightening Confucius thoughts.
Other than “ni hao”(Hello) and “tai gui le!”(expensive), you can’t miss the impressive song on friendship:
Peng you bu ceng gu dan guo
Yi sheng peng you ni hui dong
Hai you shang hai you tong
Hai yao zou hai you wo
